Norum is a private management company responsible for operating
the North West and West Russia Regional Venture Fund on behalf
of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The fund's purpose is to participate as an active equity partner
in privatized companies operating in Russia. Ancus Technologies
designed and developed the site, including database and web
gateways. This 1999 project was in parternship with Increatum. |

OEM
development of biology-oriented database viewers for Biomax
company (Martinsried, Germany) since 1997. Ancus Technologies
developed and provides support for three state-of-the-art
lightweight Java™ viewers for DNA, Proteins, and Assemblies.
These products are used to browse and graphically display
live biological data ovcer the Internet. This project is now
being expanded to include server-side versions of the same
viewers and editors. This project is a partnership of Ancus
Technologies and Increatum. |

This large project involved compilation of user requirements,
definition of external and internal design specifications, performance
of quality assurance reviews, unit and system testing, implementation
support, and the writing of user and system documentation.
Ancus also provided continuous contact and follow-up with clients,
supplied training to front-end users, management of development
activities and employee evaluations throughout. |
